Struggling in Network Marketing? 4 Easy Steps to Success

So you've decided to jump off the deep end in Network Marketing and are finding that it is a tough road. Well here is some tough love to help you get on the road to where you want to be. Hopefully the advice is not too brutal. If it is then you're probably NOT cut out to be a Home Business owner.

If you're still reading, Great! Go ahead through the points below and soak it up.

1. Make a Decision:
Decide on if you really want to be a Home Business owner. No matter what business opportunity you're in, all of the successful people put in the work that was necessary to become successful. Not because you may have an opportunity costs $25 means that someone automatically sends you a check in the mail. You actually have to work for it. Also, if you don't see results in a week and are complaining this is probably not for you. No reputable business opportunity is set up to be a "Get Rich" quick scheme. It is a business much like any other business and you have to dedicate your time and energy to make it work.

(This reminds me of an old joke my dad used to tell me... This guy walks by and sees a crazy guy with his ear up against a wall... he passes by for 3 days straight and see's the guy in the same spot, so being curious he goes up to the guy and asks him what he's listening for. To which the guy says "Shhhh... listen"... so the guys listens and doesn't hear anything so he says "I don't hear anything". The crazy guy gets really angry at this point and tells him... "I've been here for a week. Do you expect to come here now and hear something?". I know I know, bad joke, but you get my point).

If you're going into business for yourself, get your mindset right and do it for the long term. This is a decision that you need to make from the get-go. Even if you're doing this just to make a few extra dollars you still need to take it seriously.

2. EDUCATE yourself, EDUCATE yourself, EDUCATE yourself.
Did I say educate yourself? In order to succeed you are going to need to learn the tricks of the trade. Would you go to a 5 star restaurant with a chef from McDonald's? Probably not. You want to eat from someone who's at least put some time and effort into learning their craft. Every big name out there preaches this. You are NOT going to reinvent the wheel and do something spectacular without learning how to market you business properly, whether it be in Network Marketing or any other opportunity.

3. Systems, Systems, Systems:
My friend if you don't have a system in place and know exactly what ways you are going to build your business then you are in for a world of hurt and frustration. You'll end up chasing your own tail and continually frustrating yourself until the day comes that you decide that you've had enough. Get it right, find out what the exact way you need to build your business is. McDonald's was built on a system, Dell was built on a system, I could go on and on. System's work... use them.

But Brian, I can't afford it!! Hey, I know what it's like. In this economy we all should probably be on a budget. But make a conscious decision to fore go the latte's and the 3 nights eating out, it will be worth it in the end.

4. Join a great team.
When all things seem to be failing its important to have someone who is going to be there to point you in the right direction or have team members who are there to assist. Nothing beats having someone who's been where you are when you are starting out. Its amazing how something can seem so hard until you speak to someone who's actually been through it and figured it out. Don't waste your time doing things that are not bringing results. Ask questions.

Join a team that has a community set up. You also have other members who join in and help you with any problems that you may have, all you have to do is ask.

These are the steps to figuring out your path to success with an Online Network Marketing business. Do these steps and push yourself and it WILL make a difference in your business. Do what successful people do and you'll be on the road to success yourself.
