"I'm the hamburger more seriously than anyone else"-Ray Kroc
I was rereading one of my favorite books of business, the other day and I chanced upon a 'offered by McDonald's guru, Ray Kroc:
"I did not invent the hamburger. I took it more seriously than anyone else."
I love that line.
Kroc, as you may not know McDonald's has invented, either.
He invented the modern McDonald's, you know, and I probably attended and survived in our hundred or more times. The McDonald brothers in SanBernardino, California, invented the breakthrough time for a fast food drive-in.
Kroc work represents a turning point not only to work in fast-food marketing, but also the incorporation of service.
And I have a recipient of his wisdom, helped quite directly, this has been done.
When I was seventeen, I worked for an experimental unit of McDonald's, called Ramond. This is exactly as you would name Mr. Kroc, Raymond, with the exception of the focus on explicitsecond syllable.
We tested new menu items like roast beef and a variety of prices and equipment changes.
Ramond and units were not drive-in or drive-through. They were like today's urban McDonald's units in the first floors of office buildings.
However, what is important, how serious we all have learned, cleanliness, service, and being systematic. All we did was made operational.
When you want to flip a burger? If you form a small ring aroundthe outside of a kitchen Patty.
I could go on.
What Ray Kroc, with food, I tried to do obviously more modest in a way that has worked with customer service and sales are achieved and are very infallible.
After all, a 17 year old to convince him to work his tail off, teach him the value of discipline, cleanliness, facilities and systems, well, this is nothing but a success.
Millions and millions of people worldwide, has itsRun under the arches of gold, and we have infinite, because a guy simply took the hamburger more seriously than anyone else will benefit!
